DeepSeek open-sources DeepInfer inference framework for V4.1-Flash model

DeepSeek released its DeepInfer inference engine, an Apache 2.0‑licensed framework that powers the V4.1‑Flash AI model. The system is built on vLLM, targets NVIDIA SM100 GPUs and Huawei Ascend 950 NPUs, and is intended for offline inference only. The open source release aims to lower compute costs and energy use for running the model.
Why it matters: It gives developers a free, hardware‑optimized stack to run fast, low‑cost AI models in production.
